Jean Chung is an artist, writer and curator currently living in New York City. She values the potential of fantasy and obsessive collecting in navigating the internal landscape of ourselves in the face of coliding worlds and digital age. She day-dreams of alternative art education spaces, trades, labors of (self) care in studio practice, publications as alternative space and the importance of showing up. Some of her love languages are cooking and sharing food together.

Always, she is obsessed with being introverted, the push and pull of femininity and androgyny, pencil smudges, tattoos and anthropomorphized objects. Currently, she is also intrigued by secret texts in bathrooms, handwritings, Imago by Octavia Butler and heirlooms.
